Totally disappointed

I had problems with the first connection, but I decided to try again. Unfortunately that was a few months ago (Covid has so far prevented me from restoring it, so it's too late to go back). In any case, he was seen for a short time. The laptop and desktop say it's working, but neither sees it when trying to transfer files. There are no techies in my world so I'm out of luck :(
