Description of ๐Ÿ“ก Ultimate Portable YouLoop Magnetic Antenna: HF & VHF Passive Magnetic Loop with Low Loss Broadband BALUN

This YouLoop Magnetic Antenna does no need to adjust. The YouLoop Magnetic Antenna with Low loss broadband BALUN, typical loss is 0.28 dB. Feature:HF response: 10kHz to 30 MHz;VHF response: up to 300 MHz;Maximum power: 250 mW;It also works to some extent with the RTL-SDR V3 in direct sampling mode if you enable RTL AGC. But for radios without super low MDS specs, the signals can be boosted on by using any external low cost HF amplifie. Worst Product Ever

Attention Buyers! Don't buy this! The wires were not soldered, the plugs are defective. Quality control nightmare. Do not worry about the war between China and America, with such skill you secured the US victory!

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Good quality parts but not very good antenna

Easy assembly. Connected to SDRplay RSP1A. and received very few signals. Compared to a real long wire, the signals on this so-called antenna are at least -30-40 dB lower. Forget all the sunny reviews. Thank you Revain for the easy return process!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is ok

Decent compromise antenna

My main antennas for my SDRPlay RSPdx eliminate these small loops. I knew this before buying but I was looking for something portable with decent performance and this YouLoop isn't bad at all for size and passivity. To beef up one of these with more gain and much less noise on MW and HF than MLA=30+, buy Lana HF Barebones LNA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LP2WD5C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • No Auto

We have no quality and no control (soldering is required)

Nice antenna after I soldered the ground wires to the board in the bass reflex section but without repair it is useless. And there are holes on the board just big enough for the braid to fit in, so there's no excuse for not getting it right. The balun section has been properly assembled, that's all. Good thing I gave in to the urge to open it up and see what it's like, otherwise I would have thought the magnetic loop wouldn't work in this application.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Compatibility

Good compromise antenna

My main antennas for my SDRPlay RSPdx are blowing through these cables. I knew this before buying but I was looking for something portable with decent performance and this YouLoop isn't bad at all for size and passivity. To beef up one of these with more gain and much less noise on MW and HF than MLA=30+, buy Lana HF Barebones LNAhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LP2WD5C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Pros
  • This magnetic YouLoop antenna is not waterproof. If you use it outdoors, do waterproofing treatment yourself, such as B. by applying a waterproof adhesive.
Cons
  • Doubtful

We have no quality and no control (soldering required)

Nice antenna after I soldered the ground wires to the board in the "phase reflex" section but unusable without repair.

Pros
  • Feature: RF Response: 10kHz to 30MHz; VHF Response: up to 300MHz; direct sampling mode when you enable RTL AGC.
Cons
  • Slightly dented
