Looks like a better pad than the original which fell apart after a few years. Please note that this model (16000) is for cling sandpaper while model 18000 uses Velcro. Velcro is a lot better in my opinion as you can attach and re-attach the same disc of sandpaper as needed.

The PC grinder is slow enough to grind paint. So I rounded the edge of this new pad a bit and use it as a powerful massager for the muscles in my upper back, neck, forearms, quads, glutes, thighs, calves and fingers when I'm working or working too hard. The Brookstone massager is not strong enough for my large muscles. As a massager, it's a bit noisy and heavy, but that's where the power lies.
