PORTER CABLE 7406 2 Inch Small Grinder Review

I have 7 Porter C power tools and use them every day. They are full of fiberglass swarf and none of them require maintenance. There are other good companies like Dewalt but the combination of aesthetic and functional design, nice styling in classic gray and black, lots of power and reliability at a similar price point to others.

This is a great little angle grinder. It has a lot of power and the three-position grip is an advantage over two-position models in certain situations. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the fuse. Working out of the box is a pain. I had to shorten it to use it, now it works perfectly. Milwaukee has a similar switch on their smaller angle grinders that is just as efficient and runs much smoother. I would not buy this grinder again because of the off switch. The…

However, after less than 2 years of infrequent home use, this tool's motor started making a high-pitched squeak and the RPM's began to fluctuate rapidly.
