I have 12 different PC power tools, some over 20 years old and still working. However, after less than 2 years of infrequent home use, this tool's motor started making a high-pitched squeak and the RPM's began to fluctuate rapidly. I sent it back to the factory PC service center in Carrollton, Texas for repair. TWO MONTHS LATER I received an unexpected .COD notification from UPS! . I refused the cash on delivery and called the service center for clarification. I was told that the engine needed a complete overhaul and that this amount (plus shipping, sales tax and COD charges) was the standard repair cost. I dropped the charges again and was ready to keep the instrument. A few weeks later the repair center manager called me and we agreed on a repair price that I thought was reasonable. I finally got my coffee grinder back, but you better justify yourself or the garbage man will find a gift for himself next time. There will be no more trips back to Texas!
