Good product in parts

Easy to install. Seems well done. Not sure if it does its job of filtering outside odors. I'm still glad I have it, I feel better because the air is being drawn into my car.

Very cheap: Interior air filter

Pass this on, it starts to fall apart as soon as you unpack it. Maybe that's because it's made overseas. It is better to buy a personal brand. This review is from a real person in America.

Good filter good price

Just replaced my old one with this one. My last one didn't have any charcoal, but it looked gray. It was easy to replace at least four of me as I've done it before. This keeps my vents clean so you know it's working.

Sorta fits 09 Mercury Mariner

So I don't know if the factory ever planned to put a filter on this car but you can put it there. The filter itself looks good, except the housing it fits in is quite flimsy and therefore doesn't provide a good seal.

Why didn't Ford put it in the factory?

Bought for a neighbor's car that I'm helping to service so it doesn't get robbed at local stores. It's easy to swap out and based on other reviews there's a 50/50 chance the Escapes has room for a filter on the HVAC unit inlet, Ford didn't always have it factory installed. Specifically, this 2008 Escape XLT was NOT factory installed. This filter is perfect and will be a real plus with pollen season just a few weeks away in the south.
