This mug is of very poor quality. In less than a week, water seeped in between the plastic and it started fogging up and the glitters stopped moving. (We only hand washed) It was chilly for a day or two but that's about it. What was really sad was that my 9 year old daughter paid for this with her own money...

We ordered this as a birthday present for our daughter's friend. It came and I was jealous that I didn't get it for myself. The glitter was great and didn't stick to the mug weirdly like most of these glitter mugs. It was strong and fairly airtight glass. Great gift item. Highly recommended.

As soon as I filled it with ice water, condensation formed between the layers and didn't dry out. This keeps all the confetti together at the bottom. It's good Hogwarts design, but that's about it. EDIT: The cup started dripping all over my desk for no reason. Has never been dropped and nothing broke. Save your money and don't order.

I love my mug! If there is a Harry Potter fan in your life this would be the perfect gift for them. It is easy to wash and very durable. I don't recommend slapping the cup over and over, but accidentally dropping it shouldn't be a cause for concern. I've dropped my mug more times than I can count and it's still holding up well. A few scratches but nothing noticeable in terms of gloss.

After only 2 months of use the inside broke and water ran into the space with the glitter. The glitter turned the water yellowish. The yellowish liquid now flows back and contaminates the contents of the beaker. Not only disgusting, but potentially a health hazard because who knows what metals, dyes, or dyes from the glitters will wash into the drink. Unfortunately we saved it for a gift and it's probably too late to return it.

I really didn't want to buy it after reading so many reviews about it being broken but I really needed a nice prize for the Harry Potter game we were having on my birthday play my daughter It was the best item I could find just for it. I quickly opened the package and checked it fully for all the bad things I had read about. I am very happy to announce that it arrived without damage, well attached and very cute! So happy with this purchase! I hope my kid wins the game so we can keep it!

The mug is beautiful and very attractive. However, the cover is in two parts, metal with a plastic inlay. You are not related. To tighten or loosen the cap, press firmly on the rim of the cap. not quality. It started almost immediately and my wife encouraged me to come back but due to my hesitation I just broke the 30 day return period. Not thrilled with them, especially considering the cost. Same thing happened with another HP mug I bought my wife for her birthday.
