Pretty purple sand for my terrarium. No complaints. A 1 pound order is about 2 cups of sand when I measured and that was the only thing I wasn't sure about when ordering.

Color as shown. A pound of sand isn't as big as I expected. So if you're unsure if a pound is enough for your project, I'd suggest ordering more!

I bought this to mix micro seeds with seeds for planting. Went like clockwork! I poured sand into the salt shaker, placed the seeds on top and stirred it so that as I shook it across the dark earth I could see the sand and knew the seeds were where they should be.

The sand itself is good but it comes in a package that was sent in a different package. Scissors were required to cut through the mailer and I was able to cut through the sandbag inside very easily. Luckily I haven't but I think they should change the packaging.

God I just opened this up to repack all my sand for my upcoming sand ceremony and for $10 versus $3.99 apiece at Michaels or $1 at Party City it's not value. I have huge bundles of something silver and it smells like car paint or some kind of strong chemical. I will definitely send it back.

Great color. 3 stars because it's too expensive. I can get £1.50 at Hobby Lobby for $2.50. Unfortunately, HL does not have silver. Another oddity is that it smells very strongly of spray paint. Luckily this is used for the wedding. But if I wanted kids to make sand bottles, that would be very important.
