🌳 Oak Blanket/Quilt Rack by Powell Review

This was bought to replace the right one, it's like the cheaper wood's little sister. Unfortunately it is too small for a blanket. These are blankets on my knees and I had to fold them in thirds.

This stand was very weak. It broke within the first week so we glued it to wood. Then it collapsed twice more. We were very disappointed as it was only used a handful of times.

This guy isn't very strong. One of the four supports broke after a few months and the only thing she was holding was a t-shirt. The t-shirt is a regular size, not one worn by some gigantua or anything.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! One of the racks was made wrong so I had to order a new one. Luckily there was a form for ordering new parts, but that also means it should be a regular occurrence. Months passed and nothing was heard from the company.

This is advertised as requiring assembly. Each part needs to be assembled, there are 28 parts in total. We're smart enough to figure it out, but one of the cross members was pre-drilled and off-center, making it impossible to assemble it as is. We didn't want to go through the hassle of repackaging everything or waiting for the manufacturer to ship a new part, so my husband drilled deeper and we used longer screws to hold it in place. AT

This item should be a special gift for those who are going through very difficult times. Blanket. Really disappointed we had to send this item back twice for missing parts each time. Needless to say we were unable to assemble it for Christmas and then again when they visited us - that special someone couldn't display the sentimental blanket that someone for she has made quality control and care are with amazon pity. . .

And this shelf is bullshit. I know very well how to assemble IKEA furniture. That didn't happen. The joints are poorly made. Parts didn't fit, screws and bolts didn't fit. I would have sent it back (I ended up throwing it on the floor in desperation) but it was half assembled and I couldn't tell. I usually pay attention to all reviews. I let it pass me by. I regret buying this ceiling mount. My biggest regret is that I gave away my REAL SOLID OAK quilt stand two years ago. I really liked this blanket holder, I've had it for over twenty years and it still looked brand new. It was very durable and a lot bigger than this. Firstly the instructions were for a completely different product, not what I ordered. Large gaps between the installed "legs"/"shoulders" to the support posts, if it weren't for the screw in the "balls" the levers/legs would have zero stability as with a very loose fit, not counting the gaps between raw wood and finished Wood.
