These wheels are not soft. They're not quiet, they're angry, they're loud. Best skatepark/crossover bikes I've had and worth it. Take PS risers. you will need them.

Put them on a 40" split tail longboard with 1/8" risers and they're LOUD, ROUGH AND FUN TO SLIDE ON ! I'm still gaining experience, but if these wheels ever wear out, I'll keep buying the same set. I'll probably get old when they wear out, they're HARD.

Bones wheels take me back to my youth when a wheel was a solid piece of polyurethane, not a mini donut. Powell Peralta offers an excellent wheelset to glide smoothly on the pavement and be easy on the body when riding. I use some risers on the base of my trucks to avoid wheelbites on sharp turns and carvings.

I bought these for my new Powell Peralta Ripper deck after the ones that came with were of poor quality. They are excellent and good value compared to cheaper smaller wheels. They are fast, perfect thickness for retro boards like Tony Hawk, Caballero, Hosoi.
