Wrong parking brake pin

The parking brake for Mazda MPV has a pin that goes on both sides. They only did the pin on one side, I ran to the auto parts store and they told me I could knock the pin out, which I ended up doing. It wasn't easy and stupid, but they were cheap, be careful buyers.
