And the second round is even better!

As if Michael Lister's books aren't the best anymore, the newly revised Power in the Blood 20th Anniversary Edition is even better! If you haven't read the original get this, if you read the original get this! You will like it!

Priest vs Detective.

Lister wrote this novel which I bought from Revane to read on my Kindle about a small Florida town that actually exists. Veva as it is called and a prison not far from the area. It describes the trials and challenges of a prison chaplain, a former detective forced to investigate a former son-in-law who despises him. A very interesting story about prison life and its inconsistencies.

Revised edition, but contains a glaring plot error

Because the author states that this edition was rewritten, he has had ample opportunity to correct typos and incorrect choice of words, as well as to correctly rewrite the plot error that occurred midway through the plot climax. Spoiler alert: Anyone who was close to the 1980s AIDS epidemic understands the incubation period and the time it takes to diagnose the absence of HIV infection. The ending doesn't fit. If it weren't for that I would have given it a 4 as a number of typos and poor word…
