I'm tired of doing things the old way or borrowing a probe from a mate so I finally spent pennies to get my own. Definitely invaluable if you are doing any electrical work in a shop or at home. and for the price I would buy one for my home tool collection as I repair all my cars of every caliber myself.

If you are a mechanic and don't have this tool you need to order it now. I used to wonder why my co-workers had trouble connecting this to a truck battery and pulling the cord, but this thing is amazing. This greatly simplifies diagnostics of electrical equipment, helps to find broken wires, switch sensors and find grounding. I use this all the time and it has saved me quite a few times as well

Beautiful Power Probe III in fire. I do mechanics, sometimes on weekends when I have time. I've been doing this for 25 years and never thought there was anything on the market that could do what the Power Probe III can do. When I fix a problem with my car or truck, I use a jumper. With the Power Probe III I can now partly do without a jumper. I bought the same one from another seller (cheaper price) and received a used sensor that someone replaced so I ended up returning it and buying this one. I should do that first. Anyway I received it and no problem, everything is bagged and works amazingly well. I can't wait to get some projects done. I used my dad's old Power Probe 2 and loved it, but it's a nice upgrade.
