Poor grip quality

Works well but has some quality issues, it doesn't even come close to the quality level of the grip that comes with the switch. The right joystick is very easy to insert and very easy to remove. However, the left joycon is very hard to hit and even harder to get off. It feels like the plastic is rubbing against itself and it takes a lot of force to detach the left joystick. I thought mine might have been an accident and returned it and bought this one again only to find the new one had the…

Cheaper than the original

Good product but a bit cheap. I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks more for the original, but it doesn't seem to be sold anywhere else. Differences from what came with the switch (are they included in the new switches now?) - Plastic rail versus metal. The left joystick binds a bit and is harder to put on and take off. By design, joycons have a harder time pressing the release buttons when they are on the handle. The rear grip is rough instead of smooth (which is actually a plus). seems to me to…

Compared to Nintendo Grip

The PowerA Joy-Con Grip is different from the Nintendo Grip that came with the Switch. Some features are better, some worse, some just different. The price is great - I bought mine for less than $7. He has rubberized, enlarged palms. The distance between the joysticks is wider and has no Switch logo. .The joystick rails are plastic, not metal. The trigger area is shaped differently, giving you extra finger rest under the Z-triggers. The underside of the grip, where your fingers rest, is squarer

Not the same but ok

PowerA comfortable grip The Nintendo Switch Joy-Con is a licensed Nintendo product. At first glance it looks like the original comfort grip, but it is not. It's slightly wider in the middle, has plastic guides for inserting a joystick, a rubber grip, and bulges at the back where your index finger sits. The plastic tracks are a little disappointing but for $10 I can't complain. However, it is really difficult to insert a joycon on the left side. It's so complicated that I don't want to try it…
