As others have said, great concept and design, but horrible execution. Grounding Difficult to remove/add cables rendering the mount unusable as it can damage surfaces if pulled too hard. One of the fasteners closes the outlet and restricts access to the port. lie too close together.

I am not an electrician but the plug on this item will not fit into standard US outlets which have a more rounded ground prong. Contains 3 flat pins. Contrary to the illustration, the cube containers also have 3 flat holes and no rounded earth-shaped holes. Is this for non-US use only? I'm happy to change ratings if I can make it work or return it. It doesn't do anything like any other cable. Very big, thick string and a huge cube. The mount pictured was not included in my package, but does that mean I like it less? I don't think so now it would just be bold on my wall or my desk. I would like to get my money back but it looks like the window for that is very short. Maybe I could use it to knock out and tie up an alligator.

I really wanted to love it but unfortunately there was nothing to love. I bought 2 of these thinking they would be a great alternative to strips. First, sockets require a lot of force to turn something on and even more force to pull it out. Second, you need to give up an outlet to install the product. This is an amazing product! I bought it because I liked the layout of the sockets. Some of my devices have this annoying large plug that hides other outlets on my power strip. Now I can use all of the Powercube's sockets without the tangle of cables caused by cumbersome plug-ins. The dual USB port is an added bonus. I use them to charge cables for my iPhone and iPad.
