Big cube with very very thick cable

It doesn't do anything like any other cable. Very big, thick string and a huge cube. The mount pictured was not included in my package, but does that mean I like it less? I don't think so now it would just be bold on my wall or my desk. I would like to get my money back but it looks like the window for that is very short. Maybe I could use it to knock out and tie up an alligator.
