POWERMAX 2000 W of excellent quality.

POWERMAX 2000 The quality of this inverter was impressive, strong terminal blocks and solid construction. Tested a 1500W heater and the indicator was green with no problems. I was happy about the price! Revain quickly sold out all 2000w models.

Pros
  • Features include DC voltage detection, high/low voltage alarm, high/low voltage protection, auto reset, overload protection, short circuit protection, USB, remote function (on/off by remote control). The inverter will shut down when the internal temperature gets too high and will automatically reset after the unit cools down.
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Works well, works a few days with a mini fridge.

Works well, worked for a few days with a mini fridge plugged in, only complaint is the fans are a bit noisy when turned on but they cool. I tried 5000 BTUs of window air and it worked fine, ran on one battery for about an hour and called it discontinued before killing the battery. A good inverter for the money.

Pros
  • Aluminum case, 1 year
Cons
  • Negative side present

Runs 9 months. Should be good.

I have this on a stand alone solar panel. Most days it only puts out 100-200 watts continuously. But I turned on everything needed for the whole house during the power outages. It appears to be a robust, long-lasting inverter. These are the 1/0 wires that connect it. If you want to squeeze out more than 2000 watts, you're better off with cables that can carry electricity. Especially when the inverter peaks first and then continuously stabilizes at 1500W.

Pros
  • The PMX-1000 converts 12 VDC to AC power, conforms to the 120 VAC safety standard for electronic devices, and can be used to power most electronic devices or equipment.
Cons
  • Requires socket

Works great with jump starters, chargers and portable power supplies

I have a PowerMax 1000w and it works great but I needed a bit more for microwave operation so I bought a 2000 model W which seems to work all in Order, plug in, microwave on and everything worked. The USB port is convenient for charging your phone, and the port is powered even when the inverter is off. My only complaint is that I can't find a remote panel for them, even emailed PowerMax a while ago but no response. UPDATE Googled the remote again and found a seller on ebay that sold remotes for

Pros
  • Installation Type: Universal
Cons
  • Expensive

2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter

For reasons of space, I decided on this inverter, mainly because of the small design, and since then it has been delivering uninterrupted continuous current of pure sine wave without any problems. It can easily start and run my 8000 BTU air conditioner, 1200W microwave and 1500W toaster (not all at the same time of course) etc. without complaint and with minimal use of the cooling fans except to start the toaster. Bake for 15-20 minutes. I hear them running but it doesn't bother me. This is a…

Pros
  • This inverter features high efficiency output, strong starting signal, digital control and pure sine wave output.
Cons
  • Almost never
