They allow me to wear Converse and other types of flats, old school shoes. I have a typical flat foot problem that makes people buy arch supports. I've been using Powerstep Original and Pinnacle in all my athletic and casual shoes for years. However, these styles take up too much space in Converse or similar. I have flat feet and was very happy to get them because of all the good reviews. The shape of the orthopedic insole looks great, but the blue pillow is very cheap. My first observation was that the blue pad had been hastily cut around the heel and placed unevenly over the orthotics.
