🔋 High-capacity Powertron 72300 3.5 Volt Battery for Welch Allyn - 1375mAh, Long-lasting Performance Review

This battery quickly ran out of charge. I have rarely used an otoscope/ophthalmoscope in the last two years. There can be 6-10 times in total. Fully charged, probably twice. But now if I want to use it I have to charge it just before each use. That battery was a waste of money.

I rarely use my ophthalmoscope but I ordered this battery 8 years ago and it has not been charged since this week. That's 2 years longer than the included Welch Allyn battery. However when I ordered a second one it was dead on arrival and not accepting a charge on two different devices. I think it's a quality control issue.

Good condition 3 of these as it was the main item and also because of the cost. All 3 batteries were doa. Tried in different units - without success. Put in old batteries to make sure they are not my Welch Allyn devices and the old batteries are working. It's sad because it's a premium product and the cost is high. For those of you lucky with this I'm happy, but for me I'll get original Welch Allyn batteries or try another supplier.
