Description of 🧱 DAS Terra Cotta Air Hardening Clay, Set of 4 Blocks, 1.1 Pounds Each, Re-Sealable Tub (00385)

Great for both classroom and studio use. Reseal able tub keeps clay from hardening. Perfect for all ages. Super pliability. Doesn't require oven baking

rubbery feel in pottery and pottery

It is somewhat difficult to work with and unlike clay, has an elastic texture. But it's still a lot of useful stuff and makes some great parts. If you don't mind the texture then this is a good buy.

  • Clay

Love this tone

I have used this tone before but in white. I'm pretty sure the color doesn't matter and I can paint over it. To my surprise, inside was a pack of Pang Fine Line Markers that I'm going to try today. I love surprises, although I don't know if it was a mistake. LAUGH OUT LOUD! Overall very happy with my purchase. :)

Pros
  • Craft
Cons
  • Crumpled wrapping

Creative fun for young and old!

Bought for my 8.5 year old for Christmas. He really enjoys working with clay and this air drying is definitely worth it. He and many of his friends have played with it and love it. And the extra one can be kept in some water and seems to work fine next use. My 41 year old friend and his 11 year old daughter also loved it. I bought sculpting and painting tools and everyone was excited to create unique creations with them.

Pros
  • Ceramics and pottery
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Suitable for all skill levels, suitable for making DIY gifts

Clay Suitable for advanced crafters aged 8+. It was still a bit of a nuisance for my 8 year old but easy to fix (we used water and patches when wet and a glue gun when dry) and dries quickly (2-5 days) and can then painted over with acrylic and labeled with permanent marker. . Next to my 8 year old sister was his 12 year old sister and I. We all enjoyed working with the clay and were able to achieve a satisfactory result on all levels.

Pros
  • Clay and Dough
Cons
  • Fragile
