A very well known brand in India, this blender is a reliable product that will do amazingly well for any chopping and blending task in your kitchen. I had to take a star off the rating because it's overpriced, but no complaints about the quality and performance of this blender.

We liked this model when we bought it from India. It worked great for 5 years then stopped. We bought the same model here from American Revain. Works fine but the noise seems different. The sound is like it's struggling to grind up the food inside. There may be a problem with that one item or they are shipping refurbished products to the US.

Preethi Mix is best suited for Indian cooking. I used preethi chefpro for 14 years then switched to ultra stealth 2 years ago and didn't like it. Now I'm back at Preity Steel 😊 . I use the blender at least once a day as I cook every day. Well, I must also say something about the Gandhi technique. Two of my cans were out of service and were quickly replaced. I appreciate it. When it comes to noise, all mixers and blenders (except maybe a few) make noise, and Preethi Steele isn't that bad.

Strong points of this product are lightweight stainless steel jugs in 3 different sizes, powerful motor, easy to clean, not very sharp blades, automatic motor shut-off - shuts off with a push of a button. The cons of this product are the large/tall motor base, the packaging with parts not mentioned in the manual and the description and pictures of this blender/grinder in the manual - too small print and missing information and confusing.
