Even my Houdini dog can’t get out of this!

I have a bad form bull terrier that slips out of any collar or harness we have ever used in her. She is a Houdini! What makes it worse she can be on a leash and still manage to get of the collar or harness. And she is a biter so I can’t take her on walks out of fear she will break loose and bite a person or another dog. This collar seems to have done the trick! And I can rest easier!

Pros
  • High quality collar. Would like it to be slightly thicker.
Cons
  • Can be challenging to clean

Won’t slip off - my new review

I have rescued a dog who is not accustomed to walking with a collar and leash. This collar alleviates my fear he will slip out of it

Pros
  • Our collar is made for daily use walking and professional training. Please ensure to adjust the collar to best fit your furry friends neck. For maximum comfort, we recommend a minimum of 2" (about 2 fingers) of slack between collar and neck.
Cons
  • Can become uncomfortable in hot weather

My dog cannot get out of it

Awesome collar. My dog is a vehicle chaser and often runs off to play with neighbor dogs. Keeps him safe and at home. Could cause irritation or allergies to the dog's skin.

Pros
  • Ensures safe walking and training for large dogs
Cons
  • Could cause irritation or allergies to the dog's skin

Highly recommend- very happy with purchase!

Would never use any other brand. Starterd with small and have changed as our Great Dane had grown. The durability and quality is terrific and the peace of mind of the no escape for me on our forever growing pup is priceless. Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Suitable for use with young or older dogs
Cons
  • Can cause chaffing or rubbing on the dog's neck

As described! Fast and friendly service

When you hear from a repeat buyer, you know the product is good. Each year I buy my pet a new leash and collar. We all deserve a annual spruce up! They collar and leash I change out are in great shape and can be donated to the local shelter or sold at yard sale. Hyhug was a choice for me when my dog would escape his collar during walks. Thank you for standing up to my expectations!

Pros
  • November 15, 2018
Cons
  • Can be noisy when walking due to the metal hardware

Best Martingales on Walmart

I’ve purchased a few martingales from Walmart and I have to say these ones rank superior. Not only are the colors bold, they do not fade as drastically as the other brands we purchased. They are very good quality and I feel very comfortable with my dogs wearing them.

Pros
  • Stylish dark green color complements the dog's fur
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put identification tags on

Pros
  • Made of premium quality materials for long-lasting durability
Cons
  • Can be difficult to train a dog to wear

Husky Proof! good for me

We have a husky, and she is very clever! She learned how to escape the harness when on walks and we needed a solutions FAST! These are amazing! Pull tight without hurting her, she knows she’s at the end of her leash and backs down the pull! She has not escaped this in the two years we’ve been purchasing. Highly recommend for training pullers. Also noted the packaging is really nice for a collar! Props!

Pros
  • Offers a comfortable fit for larger dogs without irritating their skin or causing discomfort
Cons
  • Can become scratched or damaged over time

Perfect 1st collar for our GSD

Perfect, got our German Shepard at 8 weeks and it was a little loose tightened all the way, but still worked perfect. He is now almost 4 months and it still fits and there is still room to grow. Has started to pill a little but no big deal. Highly recommend.

Pros
  • Offers a comfortable and elegant solution for training and walking dogs
Cons
  • Not suitable for dogs with behavioral problems or aggression towards other dogs

It doesn’t have a latch.

I didn’t like how it doesn’t have a latch. Like you have to make it big enough to fit over your dogs head then tighten it which my dogs are pits with block heads so it was a little work. I didn’t mind it too much as my dogs haven’t chewed them off and they act like they’re barely there. They works perfect for whenever I have to control them as it has that loop that tightens up when they pull against you. They’ve been perfect. I love it!

Pros
  • Provides better control over dogs during walks, runs, and other activities
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for dogs that are not leash-trained

No more escaping best in my review

Our dog was an escape artist. Until this collar, he easily slipped every harness and collar. It’s been a few weeks and he hasn’t been able to get this collar off.

Pros
  • Provides pet owners peace of mind knowing their dog is safe and secure
Cons
  • Not recommended for dogs that are not fully grown

A must have for all dog owners

I've went through a few dog collars until I found this dog collar and let me tell you it's very good. It's very durable especially when you have a dog breaking all other collars. My dog would always find a way to get out of his collars before but not with this one. It's a definitely a must have for all dog owners

Pros
  • Offers a stylish and comfortable solution for controlling dogs during walks and training
Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs with a narrow neck

Great collar: my feedback

I absolutely love this collar. My dog has such a fat neck and a tiny head so any collar or harness he could slip right out of no matter how tight I had it. So now I can leave his collar a little looser than normal and not worry about him slipping out of the collar.

Pros
  • Durable metal rings for added strength and reliability
Cons
  • Can become tangled in the dog's hair

Repeat purchase good for me

My GSD is on her second Hyhug collar and we will be purchasing another for our Goldendoodle when she's full size. When she was a new pup, the Doodle chewed and shredded the GSD's collar. It doesn't stand up to puppy teeth, but it has worked very well for us otherwise. No irritation and well constructed for a strong squirrel chaser.

Pros
  • Ensures safe and secure handling during outdoor activities
Cons
  • Might not be suitable for dogs that have had previous neck injuries

Works for me. - my new review

I think the reason my pup ended up with me is that he can wriggle out of his collar. I like this one because he can't get out of it either by wriggling or pulling. This is my second one for going on walks. Like the plain collar, which he wears with his tags, after awhile it gets really dirty and I can't get clean washing.

Pros
  • Suitable for dogs with a history of pulling or escaping from their collars
Cons
  • Might not provide enough control for aggressive or reactive dogs

Stays in place without choking!

This is the first collar I have tried on my dog that stays on when she digs her heels in and refuses to move. We didn't want to use a choke chain and every other collar slipped right off her slim neck and head. This collar stays firmly in place without choking her.

Pros
  • Great for dogs that pull.
Cons
  • Not suitable for small dogs

It worked great on me . . .

All seriousness aside . . . the collar, a martingale, is the only style that keeps my no neck bulldog from eating the tires off my truck. After my significant other opened the package by mistake not realizing it was ordered by yours truly, I came home to a five course gourmet meal and a bottle of Shop and Saves' best Ripple. Not sure what I had done correctly, she waved the collar in front of me, smiling seductively. When I told her it was for my dog he got the gourmet dinner and I went out for

Pros
  • Fits perfectly around the dog's neck without causing any discomfort or irritation
Cons
  • Can be too restrictive for some dogs to breathe properly

solid quality, missing a safety ring

this collar is beefy. super thick nylon. hardware is solid metal, not cheap plastic.two things that would make this the perfect collar for my bloodhound and other dogs.there needs to be some kind of stop when the collar gets tight. as it is now the dog will choke themselves. usually some have a metal ring so the strap doesn’t get too tight.needs a ID loop. i added a split ring but it doesn’t look as good as the solid black metal hardware.

Pros
  • Provides better support to the dog's neck and head for a more comfortable experience
Cons
  • Can become stretched over time
