These tie chains look good and are worth the money. The problem is that the back that hooks on the button is too thin. It easily detaches from the button when I'm working - leaning, moving, twisting, grabbing, etc. I've lost more of them than I can count as a result. They probably make them thin so you lose them and buy more. I won't do it again because I've found another one that's thicker, holds the button better, and isn't easy to lose.

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend as he wears ties to work everyday and needs something to keep them from going everywhere. It worked great. Since there is a silver and a gold tone, he can switch them to match the color of the tie he wears every day. So far the quality is excellent and it looks like it will last a long time.

Looks good and the price is right. I was concerned they would stay on the shirt button but after a few uses there was no problem. Pros: tie can move freely = better than tie; Tie has no holes = better than tie bands.

Looking back, I should have guessed that because ties come in different widths, tie chains come in different sizes. Although these chains are a bit smaller than I'm used to, they are quite serviceable and will handle the current amount of ties well. Keep in mind that styles that change drastically may not be able to handle the mega ties that came before I wore ties.
