Died quickly from engine cooling and air conditioning

Installation was quick and everything worked as expected. A few weeks later I died completely. Luckily I kept the old one which worked intermittently so I could put the old one back in and still have AC while I brought this one back. Beware of quality defects.

Fan motor replaced!

Perfect replacement for the stock fan on my 2014 Prius. Pro tip: One of the three screws holding the fan in place is blocked by a metal bracket, and some YouTube guides require you to pry it out of the way. Do not do that; it is unscrewed at the base with a standard Phillips screwdriver.

Works perfectly and very quietly!

12/13/20 Review Day 1: I just changed the air conditioning fan on my 2015 Toyota Corolla. It's a little tricky to get there, but it's really not a difficult task with the right tools. Everything seems to work 100% and the fan is barely audible. Very satisfied as the part costs three times as much at the auto parts store and I don't even want to think about the labor cost for someone else to change it. Almost certain my amount is 75-80% cheaper. If anything happens I will come back to edit my…

Easy to install and works great

Worth the money and worth the money. Installed on my 2014 Prius 2 when the factory AC fan stopped working. When the stock fan stopped, I dropped the cover under the dash and lightly tapped the fan housing with my knuckles and the stock fan kicked back on. Maybe I could squeeze more time out of this, but I live in central Florida and I could keep him alive and in a difficult position. Replaced in about 20 minutes, only issue was the cable bracket got in the way. I bent it to the side, as in the…

Worked well until it broke

It was about 1/3 the price of a well known brand from Auto Zone so I decided to give it a try. It was as described, fit my 2010 Prius and initially worked. From the start, fan speeds seemed slower than they should be on lower settings, but it didn't matter much. It worked fine for a few days, but then it started not working intermittently unless it was on the highest settings. Shortly thereafter, intermittently, it wasn't running at any speed. About a week after installation, it rarely worked…

GOOD OEM REPLACEMENT!

Installed this fan motor on a 2010 Toyota Prius today Tuesday 5th November 2019. It's perfect for the car and blows hard through the air vents. Even at the lowest settings, the air blows higher than at the highest. Gradually it gets stronger as you stand up properly. I noticed that the motor has a very slight hum, but not disturbing. The force of the oncoming air blocked the hum's vents. I paid $69.99, the car dealer wanted $250.00 "OEM PART" dollars! WHICH TYPE ! Also, I noticed that there was

Easy install and much cheaper than going to the dealer

My 2015 Prius air conditioner started intermittently and the dealer said it was a fan problem and offered me $360 to replace it ($250 ). for part and $100 for labor). I came home and did a little research on this and it seemed to me that it was easy enough to fix myself so I bought this part and installed it myself in 15-20 minutes. The hardest part of the installation is unscrewing a screw that's blocked by the bracket. As someone here recommended, I just removed the entire bracket (one…
