Tried replacing the resistor where the old motor was turned on and the only way to get rid of it is to disconnect the battery. So there seems to be an issue where you need to replace both the motor and the precision resistor to fix it.

The seller contacted me after seeing my first review to offer help to arrange a refund. The way the product description is stated gave incorrect data when verifying compliance. The plug was wrong, the fan was not what I needed. I had to rebuild it with my old part and it worked. I give 3 stars because of the way the description is written.

Love the process and delivery time from Revain. It was difficult to install the fan motor. It installs with a twist and was difficult to repair. Of course I work on the passenger floor on my back and I don't have much freedom of movement, so that has something to do with it. But the end goal was that I finally screwed it up, the cork fitted perfectly and the Mercedes warmed up again. I think this motor is a bit louder than the OEM motor but it's not very noticeable and I would buy it again.
