We bought the thicker one and it made our carpet lift up on the corners and we kept tripping over it. So I decided to get the thinner one and it works just as the thicker one, the best thing is that it dont lift the corners of our carpet so its perfect.

The 1/2" thick pad feels great on my feet. I catch the edge of my runner from time to time because it's more elevated now. The pad moves around on my tile floor a lot. I tried to tape it to the floor and it still slid around. Eventually I put some of that non-slip cabinet liner underneath it and the combination of the rubber bottom and the cabinet liner keeps my rugs in place much better.

I have a 12’x10’ rag rug that slipped every time we walked on it. Rug tape didn’t work. This is perfect. No more slip at all. Minimal pad which was what we wanted.

This definitely helped with a thin rug we purchased. I thought it would be a little bit softer but it's pretty firm. It is quite thick though. Overall it really made the previously slippery and thin rug usable in our living room so I would definitely recommend it even though it's not cushy soft!

Nice rug pad although not as advertised. It measured 3/8” (which would be 6/16” and not 7/16”). It isn’t quite as cushy as I had thought it would be but does give rug added cushion and it does not slip.I was ordering for an 8x10 rug. Since all the reviews I read stated any rug pad would need to be trimmed to fit the rug, I ordered the 8x11 rug pad instead of the 8x10 rug pad. It ended up saving me $40.

I got the 7/16" exactly like I ordered, it doesn't smell bad whatsoever, it doesn't slide around, and unfolds nicely.BUT beware the measurements are exact, so It was identical to the rug that I placed ontop. but I cut 1" off each side with a nice pair of kitchen sheers, took me about 15 minutes once I figured out the technique and angle to cut

I got the 7/16" Thick, Felt and Rubber, 8'x11', Superior Lock.Product itself was perfect, no complaints on thickness or grippiness. I have wood-looking tiles.Knocked off a star because of the wrong sizing.Ordered 8'x11' pad. Got an 8'x10'1".Either whoever was doing the cutting didn't do it right or they sent me the wrong order, which is weird since a close friend of mine ordered the same kind of rug and theirs was perfect.

There are a few reviews here about other people who had received a .25" but had ordered the 7/16". I'm happy to say that mine (7/16") was as advertised. I was hesitant to buy it, however it's exactly as I expected. There are no lingering odors (plastic wrap or rubber backing) and it's clean/new. Every aspect reflects a fresh rug pad that's newly cut from a roll, wrapped, and shipped.I have another RugPadUSA pad that I had purchased directly from their site and this appears to be the same…

Have purchased this pad before, used under rugs over hardwood. Makes an inexpensive rug nicer & Better rugs . On small rugs in kitchen, I used a small pc. of "Alien Tape" in each corner, rug to pad.

I am so happy I purchased this padding. It has completely stopped the slipping and given my Great Dane extra cushion on the floor when he wants to lie down more than 2 feet away from us! It fits perfectly under our 5x7 rug, so there is no padding seen. I would definitely purchase this again for other rugs. The thickness seems accurate. It arrived so fast too.
