it fits but doesn't work

I purchased this item after my catalytic converter was stolen but was unable to fit it straight away as I needed surgery and my car wasn't in use now that it is is built in which product is suitable but fails the test and I cannot return it as the return policy has expired.

Pros
  • Vehicle Attachment-1
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Cheap goods - I strongly advise against buying

Cheap goods. The connector will not fit snugly on a 2009 Honda CR-V. The connector has larger holes than the original part. Check engine light turned off, part installed and after starting the car the check engine light came on again within 7 seconds. Not only can the sensor fail to regulate the oxygen-fuel mixture, which will damage the catalytic converter over time, but the vehicle will also fail the emissions test. I will buy a more expensive sensor so as not to change the sensor the 3rd…

Pros
  • Vehicle equipment 2
Cons
  • Not suitable for everyone

Over 300 miles later and no problems

Installed this sensor and sensor upstream a few weeks ago. I cleaned the check engine and have had no more problems since. The power plug is the only potential problem. Tolerances aren't quite up to OEM specs, and while it will fit in a car plug, I'm concerned about water resistance. I wouldn't be surprised if a puddle deep enough causes the pins in the connector to short out. I will work on sealing the connectors but this remains a potential hazard for anyone wishing to purchase this product…

Pros
  • Buy with confidence
Cons
  • I will add later
