Blocks out rain from blowing onto porch. I used this to screen in my back porch to help keep bugs out. Provides some sun protection as well. I ended up ordering double adhesive tape to help keep it in place.

This product is exactly as described it fit my project for exactly what I was looking for it is sturdy everything you could hope for.

We hung it on our awning on front of Rv, it helps keep some of the sun off in mornings. Still get sunlight just not as much direct heat.

Purchase made in good faith of this truly being a shade against sunshine. Not so, this overpriced piece of material provides VERY little shade against the sun. I am disappointed considering the cost and would return it if this would not be so bulky of a item to repackage. I would not purchase this product again.

This was too cover my travel trailer wish they made it 36x36 to protect it from the sun they need bigger sizes May fade in prolonged sunshine!

The listing says "60 to 70-percent shade" but the one I received is more like 10-percent. I have three other shade cloths and they are listed at 90-percent. Compared to them this one almost does not cast a shadow. It's virtually transparent, unlike the others. Otherwise well made but does not provide much protection against the sun.

We were looking for gazebo curtains that could be removed and used to cover sensitive plants in a heat wave. Purchased two different types and kept these and returned the other brand.These shade clothes are well made and work great as outside shade curtains and plant shade clothes. Will be purchasing more!

I was hoping to use this for shade, just put this up, and what do you know California just had a severe weather storm June 22-23 2022. This screen didn't even lived through it, it's ripped at the corners were the weak so-called brass grommets are. The wind ripped the grommet away, actually tore it off. Pretty upset, concerning how the product is claimed to be tough. I think it would be tough if it's used in the garage away from freakish storms. Sending it back, Damn thing is no good anymore!
