I cut these to use on the inlet and outlet of my Aqueon 5g curve filter. Inlet: I use the bottom half of this product to slide over. Air intake, leaving a small space open for "some debris" to be sucked in, but not enough room for the betta's fins to get stuck. Result: This foam is strong enough to hold its shape and reduce water outlet pressure so my betta Eddie (Eddie Betta) doesn't hang around too much.
