Fantastic cherry pit! I've gone through a few single pits in the past (my family loves fresh cherries). This is my first stoner that doesn't squirt juice and removes seeds very reliably. Another reviewer was correct that the pit is sometimes still attached but hangs outside the cherry. I haven't found one with the pit still in the cherry, but I suspect it may have happened. For safety you can count the holes after each hole. I'm a "gadget girl" and this gadget is one of my funnest kitchen toys!

Works as it should - and feels good! But this product has a design flaw. The bottom front of this item has 2 small round plastic feet surrounded by soft rubbery pads that are (I think?) meant to prevent slipping. countertop when you use it. This stoner worked well for the most part. Our cherries are smaller than Bing cherries and therefore have smaller pits. The hole through which the core is ejected was too big, so many pitas didn't eject properly into the container. The plastic pieces didn't fit together exactly so sometimes the pit hand would get stuck in the edge of the hole the pits were being pushed out of.
