Exactly what I needed.

I really prefer using them for low foot pound stuff than click type, click type can be unreliable but it was easy with these baddies. They can be a bit difficult to read in certain situations, but I like it.

Pros
  • Graduated display spike eliminates parallax error
Cons
  • Was corrupted

Reliability: mechanical and hand tools

Helped me get rid of the ticking noise from my engine spark plugs. It reminds me of an engineering school in the 80's. Old school, but always reliable and accurate

Pros
  • Graduated indicator tip eliminates parallax error
Cons
  • High price

Good material for wrenches

Needed an inexpensive torque wrench and this fit the bill. Seems to be working fine. I have used it several times since I received it. Also, based on my research, these types of sensors seem to be more accurate.

Pros
  • Easy to read scale, calibrated in both directions. Dual scale from 0 to 80 feet. Pound. and 0 to 108 Nm
Cons
  • Expensive
