This watch is attractive, light, stylish and works well. The case is made of plastic, but looks like varnished, slightly aged wood. I placed it on top of an old light wood entertainment cabinet and the teal color goes really well with it and the rest of my decor. I like it! Good buy.

The back is beautifully finished. The front has a nice transparent domed cover over the clock hands. It's a shame that the watch doesn't have a second hand, but since everything else was great, I'm satisfied. You only hear the ticking when I put my ear to the watch. Looks good on my mantel. I would buy it again and recommend it.

This is a very cute watch. I was hoping for something shorter and longer but couldn't find one in my price range so this was the next best choice. The fact that it's lightweight is a plus. It looks like a very expensive watch from a short distance and cheap up close, but you have to be very close to notice it. I am very happy with how it looks on the coat.

Clock keeps time accurately and looks great on our mantel. Inside there is a place for the battery, but there is no indication of which pole is positive and which is negative. I put the battery in. It was of no use. I flipped the battery and it worked. There isn't much inside the watch, the device is very small so most of it is hollow making it lightweight. The back is detachable without much trouble with two prongs on the back, overall a good watch.

First you look at the pictures and it looks like a white lacquered wooden watch. It is not. It's a solid piece of hard plastic, one of which is attached with clips to the back. The clips are difficult to open to insert the battery and the AA battery holder was very difficult to insert the battery. I had to stab it with a butter knife. The watch looks beautiful. from far away. It looks like a painted wooden clock. So if price is important but quality is not, then this is your watch.
