Good sensor for the price.

I bought this unit to use in a system I built to monitor the pressure cycles in my home water system. Reference gauge from work and compared at 30, 60 and 90 psi. It looked just right. Of course I can't comment on durability at this point, but for non-critical home projects this is a good sensor at a great price and if it lasts a year I think I've gotten my money's worth.

Works well in threaded rods and studs

I bought the same part from another seller and it took an engine start and worked fine for about five minutes and then stopped working forever. This still works fine. I'm wondering if my wiring received an electromagnetic pulse from the starter cable. Except that the error appeared a few minutes after the engine was switched off. All cables from the fuel tank to the front bulkhead are bundled. In this second setup, I included P6KE6.8 diodes to protect the sensor's supply and output. SFSG…

Not exactly! on fully threaded rods and studs

I use this on a Turbo LS. Installation was easy. The values in TunerStudio are correct. Run said 50psi, mechanical gauge 58. Okay, difference 8. Maybe those are my readings I thought. If you've been walking, it will gradually drop to 30 and stay there. No way, right? Well, I bought an AEM 150psi converter and Aeromotive mechanical pressure gauge. I discovered my gauge was wrong, it was 50psi not 58. Then I found out that cheap converter was wrong too. Fuel pressure while driving was also 50…

Looks good and has acceptable accuracy

I have only tested this item with two presses so far. At 0 psig I get 0.50V which is the expected output with no load. At a gauge pressure of 98 psi. displayed on a 0-120 psi dial indicator. Inches to an unknown accuracy, I get 3.07 V, which is 96.4 psi. Customs service. This is within the nominal accuracy of +/-2% of full scale, which is 3 psi. The 150psi engraving on the case is well formed and easy to read, there are no marks on the case and the connector is made of plastic that is flexible…

Good sensor, inaccurate specifications

This is a good industrial grade sensor. The photo shows a wire harness terminating in a JST connector - mine came with pigtails (with an automotive connector on the sensor as shown). The back of the sensor connector is not firmly attached to the connector, so do not pull on the back when removing the connector - pull on the retainer or you risk pulling on the wires. I have a 150psi version connected to an Arduino Nano clone. The sensor delivers a stable, linear output signal over the entire…
