These bobbins are too big for the "L" body. The cardboard sides are pressed against the body and seem to have too much thread. I have 10 commercial machines and they are the same on each machine. To make them work you need to trim the sides and wind up about 10 yards of thread. I've been in the embroidery business for almost 20 years and these fluctuations are as bad as it gets.

Rubbish. I bought 2 boxes of these BCs, reviews looked good for my EMT16. I just tried setting the voltage on 30 coils in the first box and then a dozen or so out of the second box and none of them worked. Not alone. We've tried EVERYTHING. Too bad. Item received very quickly and well packaged but absolutely unusable. I can't get a few hours of my life back.

I don't like the fact that they used cardboard/paper to make these pre-wound coils. You cannot see how much line is left on the spool. Some of them have thread wound around them, so they are too thick for a bobbin case. I bought bobbins for my Solaris, Destiny II and Unity embroidery machines. I plan to order another brand and keep it as a backup. I ordered a black box and a white box.
