Freeze Dried Venison Cat Food, Medium Size - Primal Pet Foods, 14 Oz Review

My cat is allergic to many foods and venison is a good source of protein. The freeze dried version is easier to store and I just cut it up into small pieces and mix it with wet food and some squash.

I have been feeding this to a kitten with IBD for a while with great success. Now just about every other bag I get is hard to crumble, has rope-like elements in a cube and kind of a lot of deerskin in there. The quality is not the same.

I received the wrong item. I ordered Venison freeze dried cat food and received the dog version. Now he says that there is no possibility of return or exchange?! Monster pets, better replace this with the correct item or your rating will drop.

This cat food saved my cat's life. She has inflammatory bowel disease and I couldn't get her to eat the new raw proteins (canned cat food contains gums and emulsifiers that don't sit well with her digestive system). She loved all freeze-dried raw primals, but this really worked. Can't recommend enough.

This formula contains deer meat, heart and liver. Our cat is very picky, but she dives into her bowl of Primal Freeze Dried Venison Nuggets! We break the nuggets into small pieces with a fork, mix in some fresh arugula and water, and she does not come out for a snack. their food! The bowl is licked clean! This is healing food!

Okay, technically my cat loves it. This is his favorite flavor of Primal. nuggets. I like that there is no mess - no jars to wash and recycle, easy to store, no refrigeration required. I've tried feeding Izzy as directed, but he prefers dry nuggets (and broken into pieces, of course). It seems to be working out well because he's drinking water really well.

My Oriental Shorthair is a spoiled cat who doesn't touch canned food or pellets. He was always bothering us about human food, whatever it was, but especially cooking raw meat. I've given it raw ground beef, bison, or steak on occasion, but I don't feel it's sustainable. Now he loves Primal and his human food needs have decreased *he still wants raw meat even though he feels it. Its preferred primordial proteins are venison, rabbit, and pork. Other flavors are not touched.
