🛠️ Enhance Drawer Stability with Prime Line 7240 Drawer Track Brackets Review

My wife loves to break crate stands. That was my answer after breaking the original. They lasted about a month before she surpassed them. Instead I welded on some steel supports. Match playset.

The R7240 back mounts I received differ from the dimensions listed on Revain. They were supposed to have a top internal width of 3/8" but were actually 7/16". It appears that the product in the R7240 package was actually R7227 which is shown with a 7/16 inch top width.

Perfect fit for my kitchen trash drawer. Plenty of holes for easy installation no matter how the original brackets were positioned. Whoever installed the originals on me didn't line them up properly, so the drawer opens and closes better now.

Works! Finally, the product is made according to the dimensions indicated. quality product. The hardware store said they didn't make the drawer slide to match my old closet slide, but I found this at Revain and it worked. I measured the end of the roll bar and looked at the measurements given in the ad. It's the right size and fits perfectly!

In my case it worked as I had enough room to move the support bracket on the back of the drawer slide. These brackets were 3/4" longer than the original.

Had to order these fasteners a lot as they broke every few months. Eventually I got fed up and ordered ball bearing guides (Promark) with heavy duty metal brackets to mount (and replace) to the back of the case. What a world of difference. If you feel like you need to replace them frequently, you might want to check out the metal ball bearings. There is NO quality comparison!

They were easy to fit and fit the drawer slides perfectly but one broke after 6 weeks. The previous ones lasted over 20 years. I'd love to recommend a better alternative, but I'm not sure there is one. Since the rail is mounted 3/4" from the case wall, I ended up attaching a 3/4" piece of wood to the case. and then screw the rail to the tree. This eliminates the need for less reliable mounts like these.
