Ideal for making aquarium covers

Ideal for making aquarium covers that significantly reduce temperature. The first set I received was bent in several places. Thankfully, I needed relatively short fragments to contain the damage. The second set arrived well. I bought extra corners as I needed 12 more for my build.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Made in the USA, best picture hanger

Made in the USA but is missing a piece that actually makes it a 'set', it's literally just a frame. There are no turnbuckles and tongues. My local The Home Depot had more kits at a lower price. I wouldn't mind paying more for something made in America. I just wish it had everything needed to make it a kit and not just a frame.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • I don't remember

Disappointed with picture hangers

I was so excited to make a screen rather than buying custom ones but this set does NOT come with tabs or springs!?!? what happened to it Now I need to go to the home camp or return to the line to complete this process. I will say that cutting the metal to size was easy, but that's all I can say. I thought I received the kit. I think it's about me.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • flimsy

Fits Fluval Evo 13.5

It arrived very quickly in excellent condition. I measured the inside diameter of the top of my tank and cut it out 9 3/8 by 16 3/4 with a hacksaw, added corner pieces and it came out perfect. I used clear tank clamps available from Revain along with clear plastic webbing for an unobstructed view. Took me a little over $20 and about 40 minutes. Looks great!

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Expensive

Good for aquarium lids

Used to make a lid for my aquarium and it worked well. All you need is this kit and some chicken wire mesh. Cutting was the hardest part, but maybe only because I was nervous about taking the measurements and I wasn't very good at it. I just used a small hacksaw and the whole thing took maybe 20 minutes. The color itself can almost pass as black but contrasts a bit with the black in my tank and looks a bit tan.

Pros
  • Bronze painted frame stock with bronze screen corners
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Excellent goods! Came back to buy more.

I can't believe I went 20 years in this house without screens! Hurricanes and blackouts, my windows were useless. But this year I was determined to take advantage of a few cooler weather days here at SoFlo and open windows without fail. This set seemed pretty easy to me, and I figured if I couldn't figure it out, I could ask my husband to do it for me. I ended up getting my measurements wrong in the 1st window, but everything went smoothly after that little mess. We used an electric jigsaw to…

Pros
  • Aluminum frame, vinyl slot with plastic corners
Cons
  • Not sure

Corner connectors need trimming but otherwise good product

I got this kit so I can make a mesh screen to cover my reef tank to keep fish and moths out to keep in it. All it took was a hacksaw to cut the aluminum edges/frames to length and scissors to cut the mesh screen (sold separately). You can buy a small rolling tool to press the rubber strip into the frame, but I was able to assemble it just using the blunt end tool I already had. Craftsman experience is not required. Assembly is as simple as cutting the metal pieces to the correct length…

Pros
  • Four (4) "rectangular" plastic corners
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
