Works fine for my purposes, but design could be improved

Works well for my purposes. It doesn't appear to have protective cases as described, which doesn't bother me. However, if you have children, this can be a problem. I like the flat cable, although the angle at which the cable comes out of the connector feels a bit odd. Again, it works great where I have it, but I'm seeing issues in some applications. The cord exits "southeast" at the connector (upside-down north). So if you have to run the cord to the left of the outlet, that can be a problem.

Good quality simple power strip for short term use

10 foot long and 3 pin spade connector as described. It lacks the described security covers that others have confirmed in their reviews. I didn't need them, and if I do, they're not on this block anyway. HEY AMAZON - CHANGE THE DESCRIPTION! It's a decent price and decent quality. For an extension cord that I would use for a USB speaker or whatever, that's great. I wouldn't plug a computer into it as it doesn't have surge protection. I received a different product than the one in the picture

I ordered this extender based on the picture and the cable offset orientation. I needed one with a connector like the one shown in the picture: with the ground tab facing up, the wire should go to the right (as shown in the picture). left (opposite the picture). I can find such a plug in any hardware store for a comparable price. The make and model were the same, it just didn't look like the picture. used it at the moment.
