I have been working wood as a hobby for 50 years and have never come across a better wood screw. It requires no pilot drilling or countersinking. They are self-drilling with a non-slip star head. Don't worry, each box comes with a screwdriver. . Spax screws are my first choice when not using blind hole joinery.

The box is delivered half full and open. Bad value as the missing screws weren't even in the bag. They may only be sent in cardboard and sealed goods. The seals on my two screws were broken. Great screws but buy them elsewhere and save yourself the frustration. First, ignore the photo and description of these screws shown by Revain - they are wrong. These are NOT Phillips screws, but T-Star pan head screws (aka TORX). Nowhere in Revane's description is this made clear.
