You are looking for a wheel treatment for your buttonhole before lengthening. This is very convenient as the water inside turns blue so you know when you have fully rinsed the radiator after pre-treating. It also helps remove small debris from your radiator.

Works better than vinegar in my opinion. After a drastic cleaning and a few rinses, there was no residue left on the radiator, but my attempts with vinegar so far have been unsuccessful. I would recommend this if you don't like vinegar.

It was light blue but turned green with dirt particles so looks like it has removed a lot of scale and copper oxidation. The funnel is really useful, but the two white plastic plugs are rubbish and don't keep the seal on my thin radiators. They might work better on thick heatsinks.

It was easy to make. But a list of common radiators and the volume for each would be helpful so people know how much to order. My Triple PE Rad EKs used about 8 fl oz each, my Triple EK XE Rads used about 16 fl oz each, and my EK Single PE Rads used about 3 fl oz. Instead of using an entire bottle for just 2 Rad, I just diluted the mix down to 64 fl oz. EK rads are generally cleaner when new than most other rads, so I wouldn't dilute it with other brands.

Bought twice, works great. Highly recommended whenever you want to clear your cycle. Oddly enough, you might want to look at the English language on the box, even though the back says "new hardware" and not "hardware" :p

I bought this kit for my first introduction to custom cooling. While you can just use vinegar or other solutions, I'm pretty sure it won't affect my ingredients. A big plus is the funnel, which I've even used to fill my reservoir a couple of times, as well as the plastic stoppers. Do not fill the wheel to the brim to allow room for churned water. Also remember to rinse with distilled water after use. Overall very satisfied.
