These socks are good at the beginning but soon start to unravel. Bought these for my 6th grade son who is starting cross country running this year. The boys run about 2 miles a day and he loves these socks. However, after about 4 washes, we found that almost half of them inside started to disintegrate. Big disappointment as we could have gotten this kind of performance with the cheap Haynes or Fruit of the Loom options. I'd say it's more for looks than actual "sporting" performance.
