🖼️ PRINZ Homestead 8x10 Rustic Frame with Distressed Finish in Blue Review

I will be returning as I need a large size and they weren't the size I needed. But I really liked everything about this frame and would highly recommend it to anyone.

If you are not sure whether to buy them or not, go for them! Beautiful with simplicity and strength. I bought three school drawings for our kids and they are just great!

I ordered this frame knowing it was described as 'rustic'. But rustic doesn't mean there aren't paint defects or poor build quality. I returned it and ordered a different frame.

If I bought them at a dollar store I might be happy... But at this price? They're made of cardboard! I'm really not sure why they have good reviews. I have nothing good to say, I will be back.

My granddaughter recently lost her animal lab and my artist friend made a very cute sketch of her and the dog, so I wanted to incorporate the sketch into something that not only pays tribute to the artist, but also the friendship of my granddaughter and her dog. This frame was perfect. Not fussy or fancy.

I have it in blue and white. Very rustic and cute, although construction costs are a bit high. I think design makes the premium. I'm showing 8x10 prints from my Canon printer, no mats, and they look great. The lid isn't glass, it's made out of durable plexiglass, which I'm fine with. Glass is overpriced and reflects too much. Also, it holds up when knocked over, which happens in my house because of the kids.

Love these and much cheaper than Michaels and the quality is very good but they sent me the wrong frames. As it turns out, I can use most of these. I will group photos of my son and make another group for my daughter. I removed the part on the back that would allow the picture to stand on the table (I want to hang mine) but that was pretty easy to do. Considering the price, I highly recommend these frames.

My 11 year old Shih Tzu, Truvy, died on the Sunday before Thanksgiving after undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma since October of last year. She responded very well to chemotherapy and was nearing remission, but she developed a blood clot from which she never recovered. The holiday season was very difficult for me as I am divorced and Truvi was all I had. Someone told me to memorialize her, so I decided to make a photo collage and needed a frame. As a man I have no idea what frames look *good*

I would like to downgrade to just 1/2 star out of 5 but unfortunately that's not possible. This is why I can't give a FULL 5 stars: The tabs at the back are almost too tight to easily take off and put on at the back. These are high quality swivel tabs that seem to hold up to repeated use, but I broke a nail trying to detach them and I'm concerned the frame won't allow me to place a painting with a mat because they are so tight. A damaged finish will result in some areas not being fully covered…
