Great but be careful

I really like this blender because it blends crayons really well. However, only use it if it is printed on paper that is only printed on one side, as it will bleed through to the other side. Also, do not close the book until it is completely dry. I ruined 2 images this way, the one on the back and the one that was the face when the book was closed.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Good but not great

easy to use for painting materials

I'm new to colored pencils but this blender is awesome! Much, much easier than blending pens, but I can see having both on hand is probably useful. The lids are very tight and I had to ask the male neighbor to open them for the first time! Now one side is easy to open/close and the other is still very difficult, I totally understand why it's important to have well fitting lids, but it's very frustrating when you can't open one side!

So far the colorless blender is great so it's useless to me but I'm still new to using it and will report later. It wasn't difficult to undo both ends but as others have said it's a pretty tight fit but not too bad. Update: I used this marker for Prisma watercolors and it blends well. Not great for what I used it for, but I used it for the interior blue of a hummingbird. Will continue to test and update soon.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • Periodicity

Can be used to mix colored pencils (prismacolor recommended)

Yes, that's what I said: YOU CAN USE THIS TO MIX PRISMACOLOR COLORED PENCILS. This little beauty blends my precious Prismacolor pencils even better. I just need more than one. Unfortunately they are not refillable so I bought two more. I recommend this over a pencil blender as this marker blends MUCH BETTER than pencil. Plus two ends to choose from, wide tip and fine tip. The finished product is much smoother and very bright! I love it and you will too!

Great blender, great product

This colorless blender works great on many media I've tried it on. The dual tips make it really fun and easy to use on both large and small areas. So far every Prismacolor Premier product I've tried has worked flawlessly. I know some of their products are more expensive than other brands, but I'd rather spend a few bucks more and get a blender than have it work great than buy a cheaper one and struggle to get the desired effect in my paint projects achieve. As usual for me, I compared color…

New popular color pencil tool!

I can only compare it to another blending pen, normal pencil blenders, stumps and various, atypical, maybe ridiculous solvents and tools I've used with colored pencils. Especially Prismacolors. Pantone (pen) from Letraset Blender-T moves the pigment too much. For very small areas I prefer the Prisma hand blender. And I swear that if you use colored pencils at all, you will be amazed at the results of using a blending pencil. The BEST thing about this pen, in my opinion, is that it doesn't…
