I was very disappointed with these pencils. Usually they work fine and there are no problems. But this box, they're all smashed into barrels. Graphite fell out of every pencil I tried to use. I even tried gluing the barrels to sharpen them but they just fell apart. I won't be buying them from Revain again.

Good pencils overall but when I tried to sharpen them some had leads that kept breaking. I also noticed that the pair had wood that would break into pieces when sharpened, exposing chunks of lead, rendering the pencils unusable. The ones I could sharpen without breaking were good for both drawing and shading.

These babies are the best. I knew what I was getting when I bought them. This is my favorite pencil for expressive graphite drawings. Soft as butter, dark as sin and very thin. I use them when I don't want to get bogged down in details. With these pens, I focus on feelings. I tend towards overdriven, detailed drawings. I can't do it with them, which is good.

These pencils came with a lead that broke in several places, causing it to often come loose and fall out when sharpened - each pencil often had to be sharpened to almost half its length , which practically shortens the service life. Studio-style sharpening isn't even possible; When a pencil was cut lengthwise and torn apart, the lead was broken into five pieces, the longest of which was just over three inches.
