Not so good with watercolors as stated, paper is still wavy, wet and rough which is disappointing. But good with pen and pencil

Large and quality paper. The big ugly sticker on the front won't come off. My case was torn because I removed the sticker. I haven't decided yet whether to stick with the worn and weathered look or cover it up with something else.

I've looked at at least half a dozen of these notebooks, both this size and 4" x 6". They're not at all straightforward, but the paper is fantastic, especially for the price. I've used them with pencils, fountain pens, and even light watercolors. If you look more into the quality of the cover and the build in general, they don't compare to Moleskine, Leuchtturm or any other more established brands. But for my needs, paper is just as good, if not better, for a fraction of the cost.
