Tech grade 99% pure. A tremendous preservative. works exceptionally well on salmon, trout and steelhead eggs. Produces a heavy milking egg. Really gets a tough bite going.

Not worth your money

This chemical is absolutely useless! It didn't work at all for my experiments, and I ended up having to purchase a different brand. The only advantage is the affordable price. The downside is it's a waste of time and effort, which is a risk you shouldn't take when dealing with Industrial and Scientific products.

  • May cause harm to aquatic life if not used properly.

Off-Label Use: Calibrating Oxygen Meters

Off-Label Use: Adding a few grams of this sodium sulfite to a liter of water gives an oxygen-free solution for calibrating dissolved oxygen sensors. Worked great!

Very happy with this purchase

How I sped up! Used as soon as I got it on chicken liver. Makes it a lot stiffer so it stays on the hook! I've been sitting on the bottom of the fridge for two weeks and it still looks and smells fresh! I tried that. Very happy with this purchase. Haven't caught a lot of fish yet but the fishing wasn't great with the weather!
