Good value for money. No.: record player

The first 2 hours of operation the device worked as advertised or better (with an additional acrylic disc). However, after the 3rd or 4th hour of operation, a background hum appeared. This is probably an anomaly, but get the Project High Power grounded power supply offered by Pro-Ject for dealers (probably not Revain) for free. Evo AC "plugs" are 2 pins with no ground.

Great turntable with amazing sound

The aesthetics of this turntable are great.โ€ฆ There is a diagram in the kit but no instructions on how to connect the back panel. is self-explanatory, except which end of the cinch cable goes where. One end has little yellow clips with the number one on it, but the other doesn't. One video I watched says it goes to the receiver, another says it goes to the player. end, so I went with the player, I do not know. Take the time to properly balance your arm and set up the counterweight. The sound isโ€ฆ

Amazing player! Small cable problem

I've just started my vinyl journey and it's been a week and a half now. I love it! There are no complaints about the player itself, it's beautiful and works great. The only reason I took off the star was because the RCA cables that came with the kit were defective. One of the wires is causing what sounds like speaker hiss due to a bad ground, even though the ground wire is properly connected. Swapping the left and right cables redirected the noise to the other speaker, so it's definitely aโ€ฆ

Much better than expected.

Let me start by saying that I'm in no way a music lover, although I know that I like it when I hear it. I've owned direct drive turntables for 45 years, some of them last longer than others and cost twice what I paid for this one. This time I went for a Belted TT, I was already ready to order a more expensive one when I came across the Debut Carbon Evolution. Good choice! Pros: Easy to set up. Sounds great straight away (I think it will get better with time?) The Sumiko Rainier pickup isโ€ฆ

Amazing sounding and looking turntable!

Recently found an old record and decided to buy a record player. I did a lot of research, first looking at used Technics 1200 models on ebay and newer "DJ setups" but who am I kidding, I don't mix. They just want to chill with a beer and listen to old school R&B, classic hip hop, 80's hits and a bit of Coltrane and Miles. Further research led me to Pro-Ject, U-Turn and Rega. I've never heard of these brands before but turns out they're worth checking out on a budget but you want to hear yourโ€ฆ

Sound Quality Standard

I originally wanted to buy the Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB but they weren't in stock and I didn't want to wait two or three months for them to be back in stock. So I started researching and I'm glad I did. As an audiophile newbie to the world of vinyl, I was unaware of a few key points: a) Flashy features and gizmos don't always equate to quality. , and players for audiophiles. c) More features usually means sacrificing audio quality. d) Simplicity and plainness can mean that the quality liesโ€ฆ
