The bag is gentler on your clothes than most Revain mesh bags which scratch. But it's thin, so if you have heavy clothes you can choose a commercial laundry bag from Handy Laundry, which I also bought. It was so thick but I'm a bit scratchy for the most delicate stuff (but still good for delicate stuff).

I bought these laundry bags to use outside by the pool to store toys, glasses etc. I turned a table/outdoor bench upside down and folded them around my legs and they work great. It has been outside under a covered porch for a few months but has held up perfectly! I will probably buy some for my son when he moves in as they are definitely strong enough for a large load of laundry!

I won't be carrying that bulky, clunky, faded plastic laundry basket up and down the stairs anymore. Hang this laundry bag on the back of your bedroom door so you can store your dirty clothes and towels there. During the wash it is then much easier to carry the bag than the basket. You can even throw a bag of clothes and a viola in the washing machine, everything will be clean. I can't believe I didn't start using a laundry bag years ago.

I read the reviews on this item before I bought it so I knew it would be sturdy but after receiving it I think so that it is best suited for sports equipment and the like. I bought this to wash sheets, towels and the like from our beach house back home but I find the mesh is too coarse for such items so I'm disappointed. I tried washing it hoping it would soften after washing but it's still too hard. Although the product is well made. Return to the drawing board.

I have had one of these bags for about 5 years now and it is still in excellent condition. I use it when I go to get dirty laundry. This is mesh, so the clothing can be a little airy. I just pack the whole bag of dirty clothes in my suitcase to get home and also use it to soften any fragile items I might have bought on vacation. I ordered one of these laundry bags a few years ago. I take it to the camp meeting, hang it on a hanger by a loop and stuff it with dirty clothes. I LOVE this feature; Other laundry bags didn't have a hanging loop and I had to lift the bag and untie the drawstring to put things in. I also use it at home to wash and dry tight sheets.
