Metatarsalgia Fixed

Avid Runner - Over 2000 miles per year. I had pain in my foot at the base of one toe. The doctor diagnosed metatarsalgia and recommended finding something to elevate the joint at the base of this toe. I bought them and put one under the insole of my sneakers. They are self-adhesive but can be moved to find the right position without losing the stickiness. The problem is gone.

Good pads, a lot of pain.

I have to say the pads did what they were supposed to do. They stuck to the inside of the boot and held tight. I had to pull hard on them to get them out. Unfortunately, they only killed my legs. A day later I was in hell and had to get her out. What, as they say; They work exactly as they should and I can't complain about that. The pain should probably kick in before the problem got any better, but I have to say I couldn't wait for the best part to come. Still five stars.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Works but had to add extra padding

I was suffering from Morton's Neuroma and needed an insole in my shoe to fix it. While these insoles do relieve pain, they are too concentrated in their design and don't have enough cushioning to avoid direct pain from the insoles themselves. To solve this problem I had to add extra padding around the inserts to dissipate the insole's force on my foot. If you need a concentrated lift then they will suit you otherwise you have the same problem as me.

Works as long as it lasts - less than 1 week

On the first day of use I got rid of my metatarsalgia completely so now I know what I need for that - but this pad isn't because the adhesive was complete Worn out in less than 1 week. I will look into another gasket with a better adhesive or a different method of use. I was able to double my walking distance instantly and painlessly, but I need something that stays in place. I would call this experiment worthwhile as the price isn't that high for this short-lived product. I will not order…

They work, with a few possible tips

I have metatarsalgia. They work. It therefore took some time before I personally found the right job. Liability - I've seen complaints about liability. There are two obvious ways to get around this. You can use contact cement and be careful not to get it anywhere but where the gasket sits. Or you can do what I did. I glued it under the insole. It makes him appear taller, but that didn't bother me. This solves the adhesion problem and the transition becomes smooth. You don't feel any burrs or…

They work, there are small problems

They work as advertised with two problems: As with other reviewers I found they didn't stay in place very long, around a week if only placed once. However, if you lift and move it multiple times, it quickly loses its ability to stay in place. But they lasted long enough to try them out and confirm where I wanted them. I then marked their position on the insole and taped it with GOOP and now they stay in place. Another issue that others and I have noticed is that they are made of relatively soft

Perfect and highly recommended!

I am VERY glad I took the time to look at the reviews before purchasing. I recommend them *highly* for the thickness and quality! One of the runners loved them and I knew they understood HOW to work to be effective. My podiatrist said that the metatarsal pads are so easy for patients to give up because they are painful. He explained that in order for the foot to function as efficiently as it was designed, it needs time to adjust to the new support. This takes up to two weeks. So I put on my big

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

I was recently diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma, afternoon weeks with excruciating pain in my foot and inability to wear heels of any height. I tried them last night. I just put one on my leg where I have a neuroma. I didn't use glue, just placed it on top of the sock and then tightened three inches. Boots with heels. I was surprised! It seemed a bit strange at first just because I'm not used to it, but my foot never hurt the first time! I'm a bargain shopper so I gravitated towards the cheaper…
