🚲 Pro-Tec Classic Cert: Top-rated Bike Helmet for Ultimate Protection Review

I actually bought this helmet for use in the Broomball League. I needed a cheap alternative to our league's wet helmets that many players wear overnight. Let's just say they're a little refreshed. The helmet fits my head well, but it might be a bit tight for others. I'm 6ft 5" and skinny and I ordered the large and it was a bit tight. So if you are a tall person with a big head, you can choose one size up.

The quality of this helmet is very high for the price. The helmet not only sits comfortably and securely on my head, it also looks stylish. My only complaint is that I ordered a large (as the reviews suggested ordering a size up) and while it fits the width of my head, it doesn't offer enough coverage from the base of my skull to the forehead. Finally, I tilt the helmet forward to feel like I have enough protection up front; but the base of my head is less protected. You should be a little more

You have changed the upholstery. Our 2 year old Protec helmet had flexible, durable foam padding covered in thick fabric foam padding. It is very comfortable. These new ones are made out of the cheap, very stiff, gray styrofoam found in kids' bike helmets. This rock-hard styrofoam is covered with a thin layer of foam padding. Extremely uncomfortable. My son doesn't need a reason not to wear a helmet. I guess I'll have to go to my local sporting goods store to find a brand we can trust. Update -

I love longboarding. Of course, driving on the street was quite dangerous. I didn't want to wear that ugly bike helmet I used to skateboard in when I was a beginner. So I decided to buy this cool looking helmet. I am very happy that the package came out and even more happy that it fits my head. I bought this helmet because I didn't want a lot of logos on it. In the image shown for the gloss black variant, the three pro-tec logos were black (the same color as the helmet) so they were barely visible. On arrival I took the helmet out of the box and saw that the color of these logos was white, not black like the advertised image. As I type this, the glossy black helmet image has been updated to show all three logos in white. Now I have to return this helmet so I don't look like a walking…
